For over a decade, I’ve taken regular photographic walks through Brooklyn, focusing on Atlantic Avenue and nearby neighborhoods like Crown Heights, Bed Stuy, Weeksville, Brownsville, and Ocean Hill. All images in what I call the the ‘Walk Portfolios' were taken between 2012 and 2024. These walks are when I feel most present and content. 

I’m drawn to textures, details, and surprising connections between everyday elements. I believe the streets have their own stories and emotions which I do my best to convey. My goal is to capture subtle, magical moments that are often overlooked—found in simple subjects like trash, grime, and broken objects. Wandering alone, this process becomes both a way to share what I see with you and to serve as an ongoing love poem to my home and community.
